How can I book you?
Once you have decided to hire me for your wedding photography please contact me to schedule a meeting. This is where we can discuss all the details of your wedding day and photography package to fit your needs and budget. I will then give you my wedding photography contract and will ask for the booking fee to be paid. On receipt of this your date will be booked
into my calendar. The deposit can be paid via cash, e-transfer, debit or credit card.
How long do you stay at a wedding for?
This all depends on which package you book! I am available for just your formal photos, to all day coverage.
All day coverage starts with the Bridal prep and I generally stay until everyone hits the dance floor.
My packages are very flexible and can be altered to suit your needs.
Do you visit wedding locations prior to the day of?
I have photographed in most of the wedding venues in the areas I shoot. If I am shooting in a new location I do show up early to establish lighting and the best shooting locations.
What areas do you cover?
I cover weddings all over BC and Alberta as well as destination weddings. I do not charge travel fees for weddings taking place on Vancouver Island, however, I do charge flights or ferry cost and $0.50/km to other locations.
How many photos do you take?
This all depends on which package you book, how many people are in your wedding and how “photo enthusiastic” the participants are. That being said, I am very much a “quality over quantity” photographer. I sort through all my photos and remove any photos I do not deem “photobook” quality from your final product. This includes duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery.
Do you edit the photographs?
Yes. I have been a professionally trained image editing artist since 2005. All of my final images have been edited so that they look their best. My job is to take your photo and make you look like you, the way you look on your very best day.
Do you work alone?
Yes. I work alone for wedding coverage, however, if requested I have a second shooter that I am able to bring in at an additional cost.
What is our final product?
You will receive your final product as a digital download. This contains all of your photos edited and in high resolution. From there you may do as you wish with them. You may purchase prints from me at an additional cost, but it is not necessary.
